St Stephen's Green

|

We are no expert on arts and culture but a lot of our Irish friends told us that St Stephen’s Green is Ireland’s best Victorian public park. It is a 22 acre green sanctuary packed with things you would normally see in any other Victorian parks in other parts of the world. The park is rectangular in shape as you can see from Google’s Interactive map that we have provided here. In the past, we were told that it was quite impossible to come and relax oneself here in St Stephen’s Green. The park itself is situated in one of Dublin’s busiest network of streets. Upon realizing the importance of the park to the Dubliners, the local authority has implemented an effective traffic management system in 2004 to reduce traffic in the vicinity and that inadvertently gave new life to the park itself.

Frequent tourists have all agreed that St Stephen’s Green is somehow blessed to be in the vicinity of many other top attractions in Dublin. On the west of the park, we have the Royal College of Surgeons. On the same direction, we also have one of Dublin’s top shopping hot spot, the Stephen’s Green Shopping Center. The list goes on. There is so much to see here and it is all around St Stephen’s Green. Like many other frequent tourists, we are also fond of St Stephen’s Green since we have spent so many hours there catching our breath and relaxing ourselves after walking for so many hours doing window shopping or checking out some other new attractions around here. One can only appreciate this magnificent park once they got here. We can bet on that.
