Do you love that Titanic blockbuster movie featuring Kate Winslet and that short actor fella, Leornardo DiCaprio? If you do, do you know that there is an actual exhibition showcasing the real Titanic somewhere in Orlando Florida?
This attraction is the first and by far the largest permanent Titanic attraction in the world. Their effort in constructing full scale models of Titanic’s popular features such as her Promenade Deck, Parlor Suite and Grand Staircase is highly recommendable. This gives visitors the opportunity to savor the plush grandeur of the Titanic well above sea level. Seriously, they are simply majestic!
They have well trained actors cum tour guides portraying actual notable Titanic figures such as that poor Capt Smith. I was told that the guided tour would take anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour. Don’t let that short period of time fool you for this attraction has 17 unique rooms in a 15,000 sq ft of space! Currently they have well over 200 actual historical artifacts! So, there’s a lot to see here. Most tourists regarded the replica of the Titanic as she would appear in the bottom of the Atlantic today as the attraction’s coolest exhibit! No, it is not in full scale. It is blown down or miniaturized of course.
This is a not to be missed attraction if you are planning on visiting Orlando. Give it a shot!
