Florence, Italy is often considered as the birthplace of Italian Renaissance. Florence is also famous for its magnificent Renaissance art and architecture, once it was even known as the Athens of the Middle Ages. It is interesting to take note here that the ‘Historic Centre of Florence’ was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1982.
I do know that Florence, Italy has plenty of attractions but I suppose what the following video is trying to say is that you must not miss the following top 5 attractions if you have plans to visit Florence, Italy one day:
- Galeria dell'Academia

Hi,
I've been to Florence last year and stayed in a typical Florence apartment right in the city. I visited Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore and Galeria dell'Academia. It was great and can only agree with you that these are important attraction to see. I didn't know that it's a World Heritage Site but I can understand it - it's an amzing site.
